Job Description

Asbury Park, Newton KS is looking for an experienced VP of Nursing Services to lead out our nursing team and oversee clinical responsibilities. This position requires a RN, BSN license.

Qualifications

Lakeview Village Assistant Director of Nursing

Lakeview Village in Lenexa, Kansas is a 5-Star not-for-profit continuing care retirement community, offering long-term care, assisted living, and sub-acute rehabilitation. We are searching for a caring, dedicated, professional and motivated Assistant Director of Nursing to join our long-term person centered care team.


The Care Center ADON provides clinical leadership to ensure the mission, vision, and values of the organization are supported through the clinical services of the Care Center. The ADON participates in planning, organizing, directing, and facilitating the clinical and programming operations to ensure regulatory compliance, nurture a person-centered and resident directed culture. The ADON assures that each resident will have the appropriate assessments and evaluations by all disciplines and coordinates their care with other staff. The ADON is responsible for backing up the Director of Nursing whenever the DON is not available.

The schedule for the Assistant Director of Nursing is Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm with an on-call rotation. We offer a generous benefits package that begins the first day of the month following 60 days of full-time service.

We are looking to start someone in our paid AIT program.  Since our program is not a state approved program the candidate would have to attend the KACE program concurrently.  This program would take place at our facility in Overland Park, KS.

Garden Terrace at Overland Park, located in Overland Park, KSis looking for an Administrator in Training (AIT) to join our team.  The primary purpose of this position is to lead and manage the facility and utilize available resources to provide quality, caring services to all residents and patients, and achieve desired clinical and financial results, by accomplishing the specific business goals.

 

We are a 163 bed Skilled Nursing Facility.  We offer comprehensive skilled nursing care including Subacute Care, Rehabilitation for Alzheimer’s and Dementia patients.

 KEY JOB FUNCTION:

  • Develop, execute, and effectively supervise all department heads to ensure that they develop and execute, quarterly business and performance plans to achieve department business goals.
  • Provide all Life Care nursing programs that are appropriate for this facility.
  • Fully utilize sales / customer service satisfaction-driving operating model and billing / collection operating model.
  • Timely and effectively integrate all identified company and regional initiatives into operations.
  • Develops appropriate remedial plans to address issues identified in mock survey process.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must have, as a minimum 5-7 years’ experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital or long-term care facility.
  • Must possess a current, unencumbered Nursing Home Administrator's license or meet the licensure requirements in Kansas.
  • Bachelor's Degree 

Preferred Requirements

  • Public Health Administration or Business Administration, or a health related degree.
